Why Spelt?
Spelt products, due to low levels of gluten, provide an alternative to wheat products for gluten-sensitive (not allergic) individuals. Other important benefits are the significantly higher levels of fiber and protein in spelt products than in standard wheat products. Spelt products are also rich in B complex vitamins that are vital for increasing the metabolism and enhancing the immune and nervous systems. B complex vitamins also promote the division and growth of cells – including red blood cells, which help prevent anemia.
